Back Where I Belong

Throughout a career of writing -- be it as a journalist, a public relations and marketing professional and back to reporting -- I have always wanted to control my story. With The Romano Report, I have an opportunity to fulfill that goal.

But goals can be elusive, so I will tread carefully. In approaching this site, I have had to ask myself a number of questions. Do I want to present a political point of view? Stick with personal stories? Post articles I have produced for publication?

The answer I choose is a little bit of all of these. I want to share a bit of myself through what I present. In the end, I hope to present material that is part thought-provoking items, part window into my head, heart and soul - scary.
