Life's Puzzle

Life has a way of pulling all the pieces together to complete a picture. Amazing how all the different shapes and sizes of personal history unite and form. And yet, every so often at the most unexpected instances, a piece falls out. We panic, then mourn, over what we have lost. It seems that we may never feel that our picture will ever be complete again. We, too, are lost in the grief and lose sight of the view. Soon enough – in proper time – something miraculous happens. That piece reappears in a whole new light. No, we really never find it the way it was so that we can touch it and put it back into its rightful place. That is the work of our mind’s eye, connected to a loving heart. It’s a way of seeing – even feeling – the piece exactly as it was. It is as vivid as ever in every possible way; It’s as though the piece never was lost. Because it never was.
