The inhumanity is palpable

The throngs of poor souls crossed borders to be there. Now, they try to find comfort on those cold, hard floors. Their inhumane hosts do not seem to care. It's a travesty by any reasonable measure. Look at them, rolling up clothing for pillows and having to endure inadequate bathroom facilities.

They came here to find a purpose, to ensure a better life, to provide for their families-honorable.

Illegals crossing to America? Nope, those are the members of our National Guard. sleeping on hard inside marble meant for the country's rulers or shuffled to a concrete prison-like garage in close-to-freezing temperatures.

Worse yet, now dozens have tested positive for Covid19.

If only they were illegal immigrants. Perhaps -- no, actually -- their plight would be decried by news outlets and the populace throughout the land.

The land they serve, but does little to serve them.
